Current:
I am a first year student in the PhD program in Sociomedical Sciences at Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health, where I currently work in the Center for the Psychosocial Study of Health and Illness (Dr. Karolynn Siegel) as a graduate research assistant. The projects I am working on are related to sexual risk behaviors. At the Morningside Campus of the university (Psychology Department), I am associated with the Couples Lab (Dr. Niall Bolger). I am currently working with Dr. Turu Stadler (post doc) on a study of social networks and diabetes.

Future:
More research, more classes.

Past:
I worked in the Family Translational Research Group (FTRG) during the second year of my undergraduate education as a research assistant. In this lab, I coded couples' interactions with RMICS (Rapid Marital Interaction Coding System).

I worked on my honors project in Professor Nancy Franklin's Lab at Stony Brook University during my final two years of undergraduate. The project involved weapon focus effect, the perception of threat, and memory distortion related to the representational momentum phenomenon.

I graduated from Stony Brook University Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in both Psychology and Studio Art and a minor in Art History.
